T-Mobile Campus Renovation

Optimizing acoustical performance to match the scope of this major overhaul of their headquarter campus.

Evaluated the existing conditions within the existing buildings to ensure the design solutions complemented and remediated current short-comings. Developed a campus wide acoustical design standard to ensure cost-efficient solutions. Investigated and developed solutions to optimize the acoustical performance for outdoor amenity spaces facing two major highways, engineered open-plan workstation design to reduce distractions, and effective speech privacy for enclosed rooms for phone calls, head down focus work, or collaborative meetings. Engineered three video and audio production suites on the campus for live broadcast and high-end content.

Adobe Seattle Office Tenant Improvement

Ensuring acoustical performance meets expectations for paradigm shift from enclosed offices to open-plan configuration.

This project represented a paradigm shift for this office space from private or semi-private offices to open-plan workstations with phone rooms, huddle rooms, and meeting rooms. Collaborated with the team to find acoustically efficient solutions for fitness room, confidential speech privacy, and optimized acoustic performance within video call rooms. Completed detailed construction inspections and Adobe Construction Manager said at the conclusion of the project, that “this project is the new gold standard for our organization.”

Confidential Technology Office TI

Supported design and construction team to high-end design two tower, twelve story office space to attract regional technology talent.

Complete a full acoustical performance audit on the shell and core building to ensure the proposed programming and tenant improvement design were compatible with the respective floor plates. Engineered an integrated acoustical design plan with the architect, mechanical engineer, and contractor for each of the three phases of design and construction. Completed acoustical performance commissioning at the conclusion of Phase 1 to audit the value engineering decisions prior to Phase 2 and Phase 3 construction.

2022 NAIOP Office Interior of the Year for Pacific Northwest that met high-performance acoustical design goals.

Coordinated acoustical design support to ensure efficient open-plan work areas balancing distraction control and background noise, optimized assemblies and finishes for meeting rooms, and collaborated with the team to develop alternate solutions to field-construction challenges. Our team coordinated with the design of the architectural systems, mechanical system noise control plan, and commissioned to ensure systems performed as detailed.

500,000 sf of high-performing office space next to the new Seattle Convention Center.

Noise and vibration coordination for the design of a unique commercial shell and core building with garage core ramp for underground access to Seattle Convention Center. Ensured the shell and core mechanical systems met all applicable noise ordinances to adjacent residential towers, acoustical performance goals within amenity spaces, and collaborated on integrated finishes for building amenities.

Commercial Office TI Acoustic Remediation

Recently completed office space with acoustical deficiencies, that were promptly diagnosed with cost-efficient engineered remediation solutions.

Used our See Acoustics(SM) techniques to identify sound flanking issues. Identified speech privacy issues for private offices and conference rooms, and other standard commercial construction techniques that were not living up to acoustical performance expectations. Engineered a cost-efficient acoustical remediation plan to meet their teams needs and budget.
